This 3rd race day will most probably be the most difficult day of the 2010 edition. The peloton will start in Uzerche. This finish city of the 2007 edition (stage victory for Pierre Rolland) will this year be the start of a stage towards Mansac, which receives the race for the first time.

The race reintroduces the individual time trial. The start and finish will be in the city of Saint Amand Montrond (Cher) and the 45 km long circuit will be perfect to mesure the rider's individual performances. Most probably an important stage for its winner.

As usual, the 43rd Tour du Limousin will start from the Champ de Juillet in Limoges and the traditional team presentations will also take place there. The riders will go to the city of Boussac in the Creuse department. This will be the first time this city will receive the Tour du Limousin.

perget_st_junien_2009.jpgBy winning the 42nd edition of the Tour du Limousin, the French rider Mathieu Perget took his first professional victory. A beautiful way of celebrating the way in which his team, Caisse d’Epargne, dominated the Tour du Limousin during the whole week.





132 riders representing 22 nations came to the start of this edition. Among them, the heros of July (Tour de France): Brice Feillu (Agritubel), Thomas Voeckler, Pierrick Fédrigo (Bbox Bouygues Telecom) and Luis Leon Sanchez (Caisse d’Epargne). They all won a stage in the « Grande Boucle ».
